Police: 4 Dead in Bowdoin Connected to Shooting on I-295 in Yarmouth

The Maine State Police have arrested 34-year-old Joseph Eaton from Bowdoin on charges of murdering four people in Bowdoin on Tuesday morning.

Four People Killed in Bowdoin and Three People Shot in Yarmouth on I-295
Police said four people shot and killed in a Bowdoin home Tuesday morning are connected to the shooting on I-295 in Yarmouth, according to WMTW.
Three people were shot on I-285 in Yarmouth on Tuesday morning around 10:30 . The Maine State Police said the victims were taken to the hospital. One person is in critical condition.
K9 and Tactical Teams
K9 teams were on the scene searching the vicinity. Officers wearing tactical gear investigated wooded areas near the shooting in Yarmouth. Maine State Police closed a section of the interstate and area residents were ordered to shelter in place before authorities determined there was no threat to the general public.
Suspect Arrested in Bowdoin killings
Hours later, 34-year-old Joseph Eaton of Bowdoin was arrested and charged with the murder of all four victims found inside the home in Bowdoin. Eaton remains behind bars. State police said investigators continued to work through the night and a press briefing is expected Wednesday morning.
