Two Arrested after Traffic Stop in Medway
A 37-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman were arrested in Medway on Friday afternoon for multiple charges after a traffic stop on Powersville Rd.
Multiple Charges Including Violation of Bail
Ryan Lee and Courtney Ireland were both charged with Violation of Bail. Ireland also faces Unlawful Possession of Scheduled Drugs charges. The East Millinocket Police said “Lee had multiple sets of bail conditions related to drug trafficking charges and multiple bail violations and Ireland also had multiple sets of bail conditions relating to previous drug charges.”
Meth and Drug Paraphernalia Found
Officer Garrett Carlson and Officer Mallory Clayton searched the vehicle and found drug paraphernalia and methamphetamine.
Positive Drug Test
Both Lee and Ireland were initially taken to the East Millinocket Police Station. Police said Lee was “given a urine drug screen and he tested positive for multiple drugs.” They have been transported to the Penobscot County Jail.
