
Two Men Charged with Aggravated Drug Trafficking in Maine
Two men were arrested and charged with aggravated drug trafficking as part of an ongoing investigation in Lewiston.
Two Men Arrested in Drug Investigation
The Lewiston Police Department said 29-year-old Jarid Wheelock from Auburn and 45-year-old Quentin Herring from California were taken into custody.
Aggravated Drug Trafficking Charges
Both men are charged with Aggravated Drug Trafficking. Herring is also charged with Illegal Possession of a Firearm.
Drugs, Guns and Cash Seized
Police executed a search warrant at 77 Birch Street and seized 35.6 grams of fentanyl, 30.6 grams of heroin, 136 grams of methamphetamine, three Firearms and $1,512 in cash.
Active Investigation
The lead investigators on the case was the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency (MDEA) assisted by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). The investigation remains open.
