A 26-year-old man, Jacob Murray from Scarborough, and 23-year-old Austin Teras from Gray, were taken into custody around 1 am.
Deputy Saw Muzzle Flashes and Heard Gunfire Coming from Vehicle
The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office said a deputy in a marked cruiser heard gunfire and saw muzzle flashes as the two men drove by on West Gray Road.
Men Told Deputy They Were Targeting Practicing
The vehicle was stopped and pulled over. The men said they were target practicing at no particular target, according to WGME News.
Five People in the Vehicle and Two Arrested for Shooting Guns
Five people were in the car. Three of the individuals were not charged with shooting the guns and were released.

Handguns, Magazines and Shell Casings Seized
Deputies seized two handguns, five magazines and shell casings in the vehicle.

Murray and Teras were transported to the Cumberland County Jail and booked.
