Man, Woman and 4-Year-Old Seriously Injured after Crash in Maine
A man, woman and 4-year-old child were seriously injured Monday morning after a crash in Scarborough.
Three People Taken to the Hospital with Serious Injuries
The Scarborough Police Department said a sedan crossed the centerline and collided head-on with a truck.
Head-On Collision Involving Vehicle and Truck
The crash happened around 9 am at the intersection of County Road and Riverwoods Drive, said News Center Maine.
Women and 4-Year-Old Child Seriously Injured
The woman driving the sedan, 48-year-old Tina Rea, and a 4-year-old child in the vehicle with her were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Truck Driver Injured
The truck driver, 47-year-old Tomas Escobar, was also transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
Road closed for Hours
County Road in the area was closed for several hours and the investigation is ongoing.
