Man Injured after Tanker with Liquid Chemicals Crashed in Maine
A 36-year-old man was injured Monday night after a tanker truck crashed on Main Street in Dixfield.
One Man Injured after Tanker Truck Crash
The Oxford County Sheriff’s Office said speed was a factor in the crash around 7 pm.
Truck Carrying Liquid Chemicals
The truck was transporting liquid chemicals to the Rumford Mill. No chemicals were reported to have spilled in the crash, said WGME News.
Man Injured and taken to Hospital
The driver from Canada was taken to the Rumford Hospital with minor injuries. Name and age were not released.

Driver Unfamiliar with Area
Officials said the tanker driver was not familiar with the area where the truck crashed.
No Charges Filed
Charges have not been filed, said The Sheriff’s Office.
