Man in Critical Condition after Dump Truck Crash in Maine
One man was in critical condition Friday morning after a dump truck crashed and rolled on its side on Newburgh Road in Herman.
One Man had Critical Injuries after Dump Truck Crash
The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office said the driver was taken to Northern Light Health Hospital with critical injuries. Name and age were not released.
Fully Loaded Dump Truck
The fully loaded dump truck crashed around 9:50 am and was the only vehicle involved, said the Sheriff’s Office.
Investigation Remains Open
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
First Responders
The Hermon Fire Department, the Maine State Police Commercial Vehicle Division and the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division and Accident Reconstruction Team were also on the scene. The Department of Environmental Protection assisted with spilled fuel.
