The Presque Isle Police Department arrested a man after a brief struggle following a robbery at Domino’s on Main Street in Presque Isle Thursday night.

Suspect Pointed Object at Employees and Demanded Money

The robbery happened around 9:20 pm when a man dressed in a camo jacket and black hoodie entered Domino’s. He had an object wrapped in the sleeve of his shirt and demanded money, said WAGM News.

Man Fled on Foot with Cash

The suspect was given $175 and fled on foot. His name and age were not released. No one was injured.

PIPD Officers identified the suspect based on descriptions from employees and prior interactions with him.

Suspect was Found Counting Money

Police located a man running on the railroad tracks near Main Street in Presque Isle. The suspect was counting money when officers approached him.

Brief Struggle during Arrest

There was a brief struggle as he was being apprehended. No weapon was found. He had a large amount of cash on him at the time of his arrest.

Robbery Charges

He is facing charges for Robbery and Violation of Conditions of Release. The investigation is ongoing.
