Maine Woman Drove Wrong-Way on I-295 & Crashed in Work Zone
A 28-year-old woman was charged with Driving to Endanger Sunday after driving the wrong-way on I-295 and crashing in a construction zone.
Wrong-Way Driver Crashed in Construction Zone
The Maine State Police said Tatiana Bisimwa from South Portland was reported to be traveling the wrong-way on I-295 in Falmouth around 3:30 am and continued all the way to Freeport.
Woman Drove in Construction Zone between Concrete Barriers
Bisimwa “started to drive in the construction zone and landed in between the concrete construction barriers (where workers would be if they were working at that time),” said State Police.

Driving to Endanger Summons
She was given a summons for Driving to Endanger and released. “An adverse driving report will also be submitted to the Bureau of Motor Vehicles,” said police.
No Injuries Reported
No injuries were reported. Her vehicle was towed away from the scene.
