And just like that Boom! It feels like Fall. As I was at the MDI-Ellsworth Boys Soccer Game Wednesday night, October 2nd, we were all commenting that fall has arrived and many were saying how they had turned the heat on, or fired up the fireplace/pellet stove.

Mother Nature is working her magic with the leaves. As I drive around Downeast Maine I'm amazed at the colors, and just now seeing a little leaf drop.

Rangers are reporting  low-to-moderate conditions throughout many parts of Maine. Portions of the western mountains are experiencing high color, with peak conditions occurring in northern Maine.

Gail Ross, the spokesperson for Maine's foliage said "While we are seeing peak conditions in northern Maine and high color in portions of the western mountains, colors are still emerging on a daily basis in central and coastal regions of the state.. Weather going forward includes seasonal day and cooler nighttime temperatures, which brings about the brilliant autumn colors that we all longingly wait for this time of year"
