Hermon, CAHS Win State Cheer Titles

The Hermon Hawks and Central Aroostook Panthers cheering squads won state championships at the Augusta Civic Center Saturday afternoon.

Hermon captured the Class B crown with a score of 88.1. Ellsworth was runner-up. Old Town finished fourth.

Lewiston won the Class A title. Brewer finished in second place and Bangor was fourth.

Lisbon scored the win in Class C.

CAHS won the Class D crown with a score of 70.
