Depending on where you are in New England, gas prices haven't changed much in the past week.

Here in Maine, the price at the pump fell slightly from last week, according to GasBuddy.com, dropping less than a penny to an average price of $2.69. In Presque Isle, as of Monday morning, gas prices ranged from $2.78 a gallon at most stations to a high of $2.82.

In neighboring New Hampshire, gas was down 1.1 cents a gallon from last week to an average $2.60 a gallon. Vermont's average price per gallon remained pretty much the same as last week, $2.70 a gallon.

The national average price of gas dropped 2.6 cents a gallon from a week ago to an average of $2.70. That's 5.6 cents a gallon cheaper than a month ago and 15.8 cents a gallon lower than where it was a year ago.
