A 66-year-old woman was seriously injured Tuesday after a 63-year-old woman hit her with a car outside the Clambake restaurant in Scarborough.

Woman Hit Bike and Crashed into Truck and Fence

After hitting the woman on the bike, the driver, Carol Rocchini, continued toward Old Orchard Beach and hit a pickup truck. She then crashed into a wooden fence.

Women on Bike and Woman in Car Injured and Taken to the Hospital

Rocchini, and the woman on the bike, Nancy Thiele, were injured and transported to Maine Medical Center in Portland for treatment, said Scarborough Police.

Man Driving Truck and Passenger Treated at the Scene and Released

The man driving the pickup truck, 63-year-old Louis Baker, and his passenger were treated at the scene and released.

Crashes Under Investigation

The crashes happened around 10:40 am. Police are investigating the incident.

Two Police Departments Responded to the Crashes

The Scarborough Police Department and the Old Orchard Police Department responded to the scene.
