A 41-year-old man died when his pickup struck a tree and caught fire Sunday evening in Avon, Maine. There were four highway deaths in Maine over the weekend.
Jason Flagg from Strong, Maine died at the scene, said Public Safety Spokesman, Stephen McCausland. The crash occurred after 6 p.m. on Mile Square Road. Troopers said speed was a likely cause.
