Fire in Woodstock, N.B. Displaces Family of Four
A family of four – including two children ages 10 and 12 - was displaced by an overnight fire that damaged their rented apartment attached to an older two-storey house in Woodstock, New Brunswick.
There were no injuries from the fire on Park Street reported around 2 a.m. Thursday.
The blaze was confined to the side apartment. The main portion of the house and its occupants were not impacted.
The couple and two children have been assisted by Canadian Red Cross volunteers with emergency lodging, food and clothing purchases, other basics and comfort toys for the kids.
