Check Out The Path Of Destruction From Last Saturday’s Tornado In Maine [VIDEO]
Saturday August 5th a pair of tornados touched down in northern Maine according to the National Weather Service in Caribou, and the video proof from the Maine Forest Rangers on Facebook.
The tornado formed along a line of non-supercell thunderstorms and traveled through the forest Grindstone. Damage along the 2.5 mile path consisted of over 1,000 trees snapped or blown down before it lifted. The tornado was confirmed to be an EF-1 by the National Weather Service, with maximum sustained wind of 90 to 100 mph.
