Central Maine Man Charged Twice in Nine Months For Meth Labs
A 49-year-old Edinburg man has been charged for a second time in nine months for operating a meth lab in his home.
The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency charged Eugene Pomeroy Tuesday after a search of his home at 316 Edinburg Road in Edinburg in Penobscot County. Maine probation officers assisted in the search, said Stephen McCausland, Public Safety Spokesman.
A meth lab was also found in his home August, 2016. He's charged with Aggravated Unlawful Operation of Meth Lab due to his prior conviction which is a Class A offense, McCausland said. He was taken to the Penobscot County Jail.
Maine State Police, the Penobscot Sheriff’s Office and the Maine Department of Environmental Protection assisted at the scene.
