Man Charged in Connection with Stabbing in Mainstream, N.B.
The RCMP charged a 51-year-old man from Scott Siding, N.B. in connection with a stabbing in Mainstream, N.B., east of Hartland.
A 39-year-old man was stabbed on around 5 p.m., May 20th at a residence on Jade Lane. He was taken to the hospital and released with non-life thretening injuries, said the RCMP.
Norbert James McLean was arrested Thursday in relation to the stabbing. He appeared in Woodstock Provincial Court and was charged with aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, two counts of uttering threats against property and two counts of uttering threats against a person, said police.
McLean remanded into custody and will make is scheduled to appear in court My 29 at 11 a.m. for a bail hearing.
