He will fill the post left open after former City manager Austin Bleess resigned in March to take a similar position in Texas. Caribou Police Chief Michael Gahagan has been filling the post of City manager in the interim.

In a press release Tuesday, the city noted that Marker’s personal interests include spending time with his family, sports, outdoor activities, sketching and composing piano music. He says he looks forward to this new adventure.

The City of Caribou will welcome Dennis, his wife AnaLee and their five children with a meet-and-greet sometime early this summer.
