Bangor Police say a man and woman were found deceased inside a G Street home.

What's Going On?

Sergeant Jason McAmbley says police responded to a domestic situation on G Street, which is in Birch Hill Estates, off Bomarc Road in Bangor at about 10:30 Thursday morning. Negotiators were on the scene, as well as members of the Bangor Police Department's Special Response Team and operators for their robots. At first, the officers tried to make contact with the people inside the home.

When that failed, they sent in two robots at about 11:30. Shortly thereafter, the Special Response Team went inside the mobile home and found two people deceased, a man and a woman. The names of the deceased and the manner of their deaths have not been released.

Is Traffic Being Disrupted?

Bomarc and Burleigh Roads were blocked for a time, but have since reopened to traffic. Officials say there is no danger to the public. The investigation is ongoing.
