A 34-year-old man pleaded guilty to failing to surrender for service of sentence after previously being ordered to serve 75 months in prison.

Sentenced to Over 6 Years in Prison

Christopher Tucker from Topsham was sentenced to over 6 years in September, 2025 for firearm charges.

Released for Self-Surrender at a Later Date

He was “permitted to remain out on release and to self-surrender to the custody of the Bureau of Prisons at a later date,” according to the United States Attorney’s Office.

Did Not Surrender for Service of Sentence

Tucker did not surrender for service of sentence as ordered by the United States District Court.

He was apprehended and brought to justice after the United States Marshals Service located him in Bath, Maine.

Facing 10 Years in Prison with $250,000 Fine
