
69-Year-Old Man Died after Crash on I-95 in Maine
A 69-year-old man died Thursday morning after a crash on I-95 in Sidney.
Died at the Scene of the Crash
The Maine State Police said Philip Marson from Gardiner was pronounced dead at the scene around 7:01 am.
Collided with Trees in Median
Marson was driving a Nissan pickup truck when he crashed into trees in the median. He was the only one in the vehicle.
Speed was a Factor in Crash
“Speed appears to be a factor,” said Shannon Moss, Public Information Officer, Maine Department of Public Safety.
Ongoing Crash Investigation
The crash remains under investigation. Assisting Troopers on the scene was the Sidney Fire Department and Ready Road Tow Service.
