31-Year-Old Man Arrested for Aggravated Drug Trafficking in Maine
A 31-year-old man was arrested for aggravated drug trafficking after police seized fentanyl, cocaine, meth, handguns and drug proceeds.
Maine Man Arrested and Police Seized a Large Amount of Drugs
The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency and the Westbrook Police Department said Marc W. Pinsky from Portland was taken into custody Saturday, April 13.
Impaired Driving Report
Police arrested Pinsky around 9:00 pm at 140 Main Street in Westbrook after a report of an impaired driver in a U-Haul truck.
Suspect Sleeping in U-Haul
Pinsky was found sleeping in the rear of the U-Haul truck when officers arrived on the scene.
Wanted on Outstanding Warrants
He was wanted on outstanding warrants for failing to appear in court on felony drug trafficking charges and violating bail.
MDEA Assisting with the Investigation
He was apprehended and MDEA agents arrived to assist in the arrest and investigation.
Drugs, Firearms and Drug Money Seized
Officers searched Pinsky and a bag in his possession. Police seized 309 grams (10.9 ounces) Fentanyl, 140 grams (4.9 ounces) Cocaine, 21 grams Methamphetamine, 2 Handguns, $2,000 in suspected drug proceeds. Approximate value of the seized drugs is $30,000.
