A 28-year-old man was sentenced to 33 years in prison for murdering a man in Lewiston on July 18, 2022.
Maine Man Sentenced to 33 Years for Murder
Mark John Sinclair from Lewiston pleaded guilty to shooting to death 20-year-old John Paquin from Worcester, Massachusetts. He was sentenced on Wednesday in Maine court, said WGME News.
Victim Found in the Street with Gunshot Wounds
Paquin was found on Howe Street on July 17, 2022 with gunshot wounds. Police executed a search warrant at Sinclair’s residence on July 18, 2022. He was taken into custody and charged.
Active Warrants at Time of Arrest
Sinclair also had active warrants for domestic violence terrorizing, criminal mischief and violation of bail.
