28-Year-Old Man Died after Crashing into Telephone Pole in Maine
A 28-year-old man died Thursday morning after crashing into a telephone pole in Buxton.
Man Died after Hitting Telephone Pole
The Buxton Police Department said Gage Parsons of Old Orchard Beach crashed around 5:11 am when he left the road at a sharp corner and collided with the utility pole.
Driver Trapped in Vehicle
Parsons was trapped inside the vehicle and extricated by EMS at the scene. The crash happened at the intersection of Beech Plains Road and Boynton Road.
Man Died at the Hospital
He was taken to Maine Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
Second Crash at the Scene
There was a secondary crash unrelated to the first crash, said police. The investigation is ongoing.
