Sixteen students were injured Tuesday morning after a school bus crashed in a ditch in Minot.

The accident involved RSU 16, Bus 1, from the Minot Consolidated School, said WGME News.
16 Students Injured with 43 On Board
The Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office said 16 children were injured. There were a total of 43 people on the school bus at the time. The children had minor injuries.
School Bus Hit a Culvert in a Ditch
The crash happened around 8 am about a mile from the school when the bus left the road, went into a ditch and hit a culvert.
EMTs and School Staff on the Scene
First responders and school staff were on the scene. The crash is under investigation.
