12-Year-Old Boy Died after Body Found in River in Maine
A 12-year-old boy died Sunday after he was pulled from the Presumpscot River by divers in Westbrook.
12-Year-Old Died after Falling in the River
Police said the boy was reported missing around 4 pm after he went underwater near a boat launch on Lincoln Street and did not resurface.
Divers Searched for Three Hours in the Water
Divers with the Portland Police Department and Maine Game Wardens searched for close to three hours before finding him in the water around 7 pm, said WGME News.
Child Died at Hospital
First responders attempted life-saving measures as the boy was taken to Maine Medical Center where he died at the hospital.
