Aroostook County –  A unique first-time fundraiser to benefit Aroostook County dialysis patients will have community  members literally “pedaling” for funds to support the only-of-its-kind, life-sustaining service in northern Maine for area residents with kidney failure.

A you a chocolate fan? Good news! Relay for Life will hold it's 2nd Annual Chocolate Festival on Saturday, April 4th, 2015 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Teague Park School in Caribou!

Snowmobiling season may be starting to wind down, but local snowmobile clubs still need your help. A Trailside Hot Dog Roast Fundraiser is being sponsored by the Pleasant Ridge Riders Snowmobile Club and will be held on Saturday, March 28th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Intersection of ITS 81 and Trail 100 located behind Parents Country Store on the Van Buren Road in Caswell.

It has been just over one year since the Ark Animal Sanctuary in Houlton lost their building to a devastating fire that also claimed the lives of 16 cats. The Sanctuary is in the process of constructing a new building, but could still use the help of those in our area.
