A day in the great outdoors of Northern Maine doing some snowshoeing, and for a good cause? Count me in!

It’s the 2nd Annual Angel Snowfest benefit for Angel Flight New England and Edgar J. Paradis Cancer Fund in Memory of Dick and Carol Derosier at Lakeview Restaurant in St. Agatha. This is an all day event on Saturday, March 7th starting at 11:00 a.m.

There is a $15 registration fee if you would like to participate in the snowshoe or walk. That fee gets you a neck-warmer with the Angel Snowfest logo, stew, and entertainment featuring the Acadian Singers.

At 1:00 p.m. join in the snowshoe or walk on the trails with Lakeview’s breathtaking views!  The band, ‘Bad Mother Boogie,’ will be playing from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. right before the ‘Luminary Walk’ at 6:00 p.m. on the snowshoe trails. You can purchase a luminary right at Lakeview for $5.00 with proceeds going to Angel Snowfest.

There will be a $20 cover fee for the evening’s big event from 7:00 p.m. to midnight, which includes live music featuring the band, ‘Boomerang,’ plenty of hors d’oeurves and a special appearance by Elvis!

There will even be and ice bar outside all day for this event!
