Classic Country Song of the Day – ‘He Stopped Loving Her Today’ by George Jones [VIDEO]

On this day in 1980, the late George Jones’ signature song settled in at No.1.  ‘He Stopped Loving Her Today’ has been hailed as the greatest country song of all time.  At the time, it was Jones’ first No.1 song in six years.  Shortly after George Jones died this year, the song charted again at No.21.
