‘Country Gold with Randy Owen’ Comes to Big Country!

I love country music. I love the stories, the lifestyle and real down home feel of it all. I grew up with it but at the time it was NOT my favorite. My mother played it all the time and it drove me crazy. As I've grown older and have a family of my own my tastes have changed. Today's country is great, for the most part, but if you're a fan of classic country music, Big Country gets even bigger on the weekends.

Well starting this Sunday morning, you go to Big Country 96.9 FM or listen right here on this website. We're over-the-moon excited to showcase a country music legend's new show, 'Country Gold with Randy Owen.' Randy is best known for being the lead singer in Alabama, the most successful group in the history of country music.

I've listened to the show and I have to say, what a breath of fresh air. These are songs that were ingrained in my memory from childhood but I'd forgotten about. There's a great mix of 70s, 80s and 90s country and Randy even has current artists in the studio to talk about and play their country music influences.
