On this day in 1990, Randy Travis had the No.1 song in country music with “Hard Rock Bottom of Your Heart.”  It was the second song released from his album No Holdin’ Back.  The song spent four weeks in the top spot becoming the first song to accomplish that in twelve years.

We think Randy Travis ranks right up there with George Strait and George Jones in the pantheon of great country music singers.  Let us know what you think on Facebook.
