Walker Hayes to Bring ‘Same Drunk Tour’ to Bangor This Friday

The Bangor Waterfront should get ready to be 'Fancy Like' when Walker Hayes returns to our Pine Tree State this Friday!

It was announced in April by Waterfront Concerts and the Maine Savings Amphitheater that the Alabama-born, pop-country singer, Walker Hayes, would be coming back to Maine in the summer of 2024.

Walker Hayes will be bringing the 'Same Drunk Tour' to the Maine Savings Amphitheater on the Bangor Waterfront on Friday, August 30, 2024.

The 'Fancy Like' singer most recently performed in Maine in October of 2022, on October 6th, bringing his 'Glad You’re Here Tour' to Maine’s biggest city, Portland, at the Cross Insurance Arena. At that show, Hayes was accompanied by the American country music band Parmalee, known for their hits 'Girl in Mine,' and 'Take My Name.'

Clearly, we Mainers gave Hayes enough love for him to want to come back so soon, and the feeling must have been mutual.

Many would say that Hayes’ most popular song is, in fact, 'Fancy Like,' a country-pop hit that celebrates the simple joys of life.

The song became a viral sensation on social media, thanks in part to the 'Applebee's' lyric that sparked a dance trend on TikTok. 'Fancy Like' is just an all-around upbeat tune with relatable lyrics, making it a favorite among folks of all ages, and one that we’re looking forward to hearing on the Bangor Waterfront.
