The University of Maine at Presque Isle's Student Activities Office will be hosting, just in time for Halloween, two mysterious escape rooms.

The escape rooms will be open Wednesday evening, October 30, from 5:30 to 9 p.m. in the Campus Center Multi-Purpose Room.

This is a kid-friendly event, free for students, and donations will be accepted from community members. Each escape room will have its own zombie-related theme.

The goal is to successfully escape a room in a limited amount of time. Team members will have to work together by discovering clues, accomplishing tasks and solving puzzles in order to leave the room. Students and the public will be able to participate in an escape room with up to five people per room

In the first escape room, zombies are coming and participants must get out as quickly as possible. The goal of this room is to find the keys to a getaway vehicle in the locker room before the zombies arrive. In the second escape room, a murder has been committed and it’s up to participants to find the human who did it so he or she can be tossed to the zombies.
