Two Teens Suffer Serious Injuries in Multi-Vehicle Crash [PHOTOS]
Two teenagers suffered serious injuries when their pickup crashed into three vehicles Sunday morning on Route 202 in Lebanon.
Maine State Police said 18-year-old Robert Rapino of Lynnfield, MA was driving & 17-year-old Scott Fryou of Rochester, NH was his passenger when the 2011 Toyota crossed the centerline and struck two vehicles in the opposite lane around 11 am. The truck then collided with a parked vehicle in a driveway, went through a wooded area, and came to rest in a yard.
Rapino was taken to Goodall Hospital in Sanford for head injuries, and Fryou was LifeFlighted to Maine Medical Center with serious head injuries. Police said the teens were not wearing their seatbelts. The drivers of the other vehicles hit were treated at the scene and released.
The accident is under investigation. Route 202 in Lebanon from Depot Road to Center Road was closed for four hours.
