Two Men Arrested on Drug Charges after Crack Seized in Maine
A 23-year-old man was arrested for drug trafficking and a 22-year-old man was charged with drug possession following a traffic stop in Portland on Tuesday.
Two Men Arrested on Drug Charges after Traffic Stop
The Portland Police Department said Roger Sockabasin from Portland and Habib Mohamed from South Portland were taken into custody on Alder Street around 4:35 pm.
93 Grams of Crack Seized
Officers searched their vehicle and seized 93 grams of crack cocaine.
Warrant for Arrest
Sockabasin had a warrant for his arrest for violating conditions of release and operating while license suspended or revoked.
Two Counts of Drug Trafficking
Mohamed was arrested on two counts of drug trafficking.
Transported to Jail
Both men were taken to the Cumberland County Jail.
