Three People Seriously Injured in Southern Maine Crash
WATERBORO, Maine (AP) — Officials in Maine are investigating a crash that left three people seriously injured.
Police responded to a crash on state Route 5 in Waterboro around 4:30 p.m. Sunday. Authorities say a car collided with an SUV head-on.
Sixty-year-old Judith Toomey, of Wells, was operating the car. Forty-seven-year-old Tina Ayote, of Waterboro, was driving the SUV with her daughter at the time of the crash.
All three were taken to a hospital for treatment.
The crash closed a portion of state Route 5 for three hours.
