The Codiac Regional RCMP is asking for the public's assistance with its investigation into three bank robberies in downtown Moncton during the month of September.

On September 6, a man entered the UNI bank at 305 St. George Street and demanded money, indicating he had a weapon, said the RCMP.

On September 11, the Advance Savings Credit Union on Weldon Street was held up by a man who suggested he had a weapon.

Then on September 21, the UNI bank on George Street was held up again by a man who indicated he had a weapon. In all three cases, the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect in all three incidents is described as Caucasian, approximately 5'9" tall with a husky build. Police believe the three incidents may be related. The investigation is continuing.
