A Fairfield, New Brunswick man is in custody charged with several offenses after an incident at a motel in Jacksonville.

The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency has arrested a New York man and a Veazie woman at a Bangor motel following a several month investigation into the distribution of significant amounts of Oxycodone from their room.

Presque Isle Police and several other agencies are investigating the death of a 44-year-old man who died in a taxi cab shortly after being picked up at the Northern Lights Motel on Monday morning.
