Fall is the best time of year here in Maine! All the tourists have gone home, we finally have the place to ourselves again, and winter isn't quite here yet.
Yesterday I spent an hour leaf blowing and barely made a dent. We have so many leaves! The forecast is for heavy rains over the next couple days, so I really wanted to get them up and out. I've made the mistake of leaving our leaves until the spring, but there are so many that my grass is not happy after being suffocated under them for months...
Everyday the leaves get a little more colorful, and the sun sets a few minutes earlier. This Thursday marks the first day of Fall. With that in mind, it's time for hoodies, long pants, and pumpkin spice everything!
