There's no denying it. Summer is coming to an end. We're approaching Labor Day weekend and if you pay attention, some leaves are already changing color. Soon the entire state will come alive with the sights of red, brown, yellow, and orange leaves...

Police have identified a Maine Medical Center patient who died after falling from a sixth-floor window at the hospital.

According to the state's official website at www.Maine.gov, six out of the seven "foliage zones" of the state are in peak color right now.

The leaves in northern Maine will be moving towards peak conditions this upcoming Columbus Day weekend according to the Maine Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry.

Maine’s fall foliage is turning, but the best is still yet to come during the next three weeks, according to Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry.

A Fall Foliage Paddle will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, October 4th at Grand Lake Stream.

With the official arrival of autumn ushering in cooler temperatures, the Maine Department of Agriculture, Conservation & Forestry reports 15-20 percent color change and very low leaf drop in northern Maine.
