Life Threatening Injuries in Presque Isle Snowmobile Crash

Two Bangor men were hurt - one with life threatening injuries - after their snowmobiles crashed into each other in Presque Isle.

According to WABI TV5, Austin Guernsey, 20, was seriously injured and 20-year-old Nicholas Bazinet had minor injuries.

Guernsey was taken first to the Aroostook Medical Center and later transferred to a Bangor hospital. Bazinet was treated at TAMC.

Speed, ice and braking conditions are suspected factors in the crash on a trail near Fort Road.
