RCMP Asking Property Owners near Port Elgin for Assistance in Search For Missing Man
The RCMP is looking for a missing 28-year-old man, and is asking property owners near Port Elgin to check their properties.
Police received a report on the morning of November 26th that Tyler Fillmore was missing. His vehicle and some personal items were found the same day off John A Trenholm Road in Port Elgin. The RCMP also said additional personal items were found November 30th in a trailer in the Upper Cape area. Police say there have been sightings of him, but the information was not given to police until some time had passed.
Sgt. Paul Gagné of the Southeast District RCMP Sackville Detachment advises:
If you see someone resembling Tyler Fillmore's description in the area, we need you to contact police immediately so we can follow up. If you have cottages, trailers or outbuildings in the area that are not in regular use this time of year, please check them and report any unusual activity, or anything out of place, that may help us locate Mr. Fillmore."
The RCMP describes Fillmore as Caucasian, weighing 142 lbs, 5'7" tall with green eyes and red hair.
