Presque Isle McDonald’s Closing for Renovations

The Presque Isle McDonald’s is scheduled to close for renovations Sunday, May 26 at 9 pm, according to The County.

Construction on the restaurant should last about 90 days.

The design will include modern updates like a double drive-thru. McDonald's bought the property behind its current location. The plan is to use the additional space for the new layout & drive-thru. In the past, cars could back up traffic on Maine Street, The County said.

Other new construction involves increased seating & a bigger playhouse.
