Old Town Police are looking for a man who is a suspect in a pair of incidents at the Old Town Regency mobile home park.

How Did This Incident Begin?

Police were called to Lance Court in Old Town at approximately 4:15 Saturday afternoon for a report of a man allegedly threatening a woman with a firearm. An investigation into the circumstances of the incident indicated that Jack Fraser, 47, of Old Town, and Morningstar Mason, 41, also of Old Town were allegedly involved in the altercation with the victim.

Members of the Old Town Police Department tried to make contact with Fraser and Mason at a residence on Billie Jo Court, which is in the same mobile home park. Initially, the pair were unresponsive. Old Town Police obtained a search warrant for the home and called in the Maine State Police Tactical Team and Penobscot County Sheriff's Office to assist in the situation. Officials attempted to negotiate with the couple for several hours before one of the two gave themselves up.

What Charges Do the Two Suspects Face?

Eventually, Morningstar Mason exited the home and was arrested on several charges:

  • Criminal attempt to commit a class A crime
  • Criminal threatening
  • Creating a Police Standoff
  • Refusing to submit to arrest

Jack Fraser managed to escape the police and is now wanted on a temporary warrant for the following charges:

  • Criminal attempt to commit a class A crime
  • Criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon

At the last report, Fraser remained at large.
