His Car Was Found Near a Scenic Overlook in Weld

He was last seen leaving his New Sharon home on Monday, heading to a meeting in Weld. Someone told authorities they saw him driving on the Colby Miller Road in Farmington that day, but Mr. Altmaier never arrived at his destination. His car was later discovered at the Mount Blue State Park Scenic Overlook,  off the Center Hill Road in Weld, but his family and friends say they haven't heard from him.

Wardens Hope to Hear From Anyone Who May Have Seen Him

Officials are asking for the public's help, hoping someone may have seen Mr. Altmaier at the overlook or on one of the trails in that area. Anyone who believes they may have information regarding Mr. Altmaier is urged to contact the Maine Warden Service at 207-624-7076.
