Monticello Man has Two Accidents Due to Medical Condition
Presque Isle Police said a 68-year-old Monticello man was involved in two accidents Tuesday about an hour apart. Police believe Michael Lynch experienced an unknown medical episode that likely contributed to both accidents.
Lynch was in the first accident around 4 pm Tuesday after colliding with 68-year-old Regina Craig from Presque Isle. Location was not released.
Craig’s vehicle was towed and she was transported by Presque Isle Ambulance for evaluation. Lynch sustained no injury and refused medical transport, said PIPD.
Police responded to the second accident at 5 pm on the Connector Road near the Aroostook Centre Mall.
Lynch was westbound when he crashed head-on into 47-year-old Aaron Sherman from Presque Isle travelling eastbound.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene with disabling damages. Sherman was not injured. Lynch was transported for a possible, unknown medical condition, said police.
