Man & Woman Arrested after Burglary & Fight with Police in Maine

A 31-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman were arrested after a burglary and fight with police in Dixfield.

Variety Store Burglary Led to Fight with Police

Charles Gannon Jr. and Misty Glover were identified by surveillance footage after a burglary at Ellis Variety on Sunday. Windows were broken and front door was smashed when officers arrived. No one was inside.

Suspects Located

The Oxford County Sheriff’s Office said Gannon and Glover are homeless and were later located in Dixfield.

Male Suspect Fought Police and was Tased

Gannon resisted arrest and fought with law enforcement. He was tased and apprehended. Glover interfered and was arrested, said the Sheriff's Office.

Man Charged for Fighting with Police

Gannon is facing charges for aggravated criminal mischief and refusing to submit to arrest or detention.

Woman Charged for Interfering with Arrest

Glover was charged with obstructing government administration and refusing to submit to arrest or detention.
