Man With 9 Warrants Arrested after Fleeing from Police in Maine
A 24-year-old man with nine active warrants was apprehended after fleeing from police in Levant.
Man with Nine Warrants Resisted Arrest
The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office said Joseph Crawford from Garland resisted arrest and fled from police on Thursday around 5:51 pm.
Man Fled from Police
Crawford fled into a wooded area after he was spotted at a store in Levant.
K-9 Tracked Suspect to Residence
K-9 Memphis and officers tracked Crawford down at a local residence. He was arrested without incident.
Multiple Charges
Crawford was charged with nine warrants and faces additional charges of Refusing to Submit to Arrest or Detention and Violation of Conditional Release. He was taken to the Penobscot County Jail.
