Man Struck By Train, Critically Injured

OAKFIELD, Maine (AP) — Firefighters say a man was critically injured when he was struck by a train in Oakland, Maine.

Firefighters tell WABI-TV that the man was in stable condition Sunday after being airlifted to a hospital the night before.

Investigators say it appears that the man was walking on the tracks, but the investigation is continuing. The man's identity wasn't released.
